Tonight was our last pottery class. I finished glazing my last four mugs and cup, and was able to bring home these pieces which just came out of the kiln after glazing two weeks ago.

They look good, I'd like to see them "for real" sometime. Did they look different then you expected? I hear it's usually a surprise how the glaze turns out.
It's true, you don't really know what to expect when you get things fired. It's always different depending on where the piece sits in the kiln and how hot it gets. Audrey and I used one of the same glazes (she used it twice) and every single time it was a lot different. I'm kind of happy how they turned out in general though. I'll definitely show you sometime :D
