Money Creek, Minnesota

We discoverd that our first campsite's bathroom was
made for short people

Quinn T and Oscar showing off our tent

We noticed they had a lot of fields like this - with two crops. This one is hay and corn. We weren't really sure why they did it. Our guess was erosion - any other suggestions?

We visited the world's only corn palace!
The murals are made out of corn cobs.

Farewell

Meet Odis, Oscar Skye, Chirp, and Quinn T.
These four unique birds will be travelling with me and three of my other good friends from school. We'll take pictures of them in different places we journey to over the next year (or so).

Audrey, Miranda, Angie & I lived together over the past year and we will now be going our separate ways. We got together in Peterborough before our many adventures begin.

Audrey plans to head off to South Korea
Miranda will also be going to South Korea (leaving Aug. 21)

Angie's heading off to Nelson, BC

I couldn't help sharing this picture of a Peterborough duck

...and these two crazy monkeys :P

Camping

I went camping with a bunch of friends in the Elora Gorge
We went tubing down the river on Saturday - a whole lot of fun!

Other than that, it was a lot of relaxing, on the campsite and on the beach - a wonderful way to spend a gorgeous long weekend!
